Standing at 5895m above sea level Mt Kilimanjaro is the largest mountain in Africa. At this height ‘Kili’, as the mountain is affectionately known, is also the largest free-standing mountain in the world and the highest mountain that can be summitted by a non-technical trekker. So it is time to lace on your boots, grab your backpack and start the walk to the summit – Uhuru Point – where you will be greeted by 360 degree views over the surrounding African plains!
